Meet Elgintine Dudley Executive VP of Sales & Marketing - Community Affairs

A Legacy of Leadership, Community Service, and Hospitality Excellence
Elgintine Dudley, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing & Community Affairs with Astute Hospitality Partners, where she develops and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market share along with their community presence. She is the former Senior National Account Manager/Director of Community Engagement, for The Carver Companies. She focused on deepening client relationships within the Task Force Division, as well as penetrating the market to secure new business and relationships. She also secures experienced hospitality professionals for work assignments as Task Force Consultants, at Hotel and Resorts in the USA.
She is the Founder of In the Spirit Awards, an organization established in 2010 and was created to recognize and salute great unsung Heroes and Shero’s, who demonstrate daily the epitome of being an outstanding leader and plans, oversees, and executes the annual Gala. She is the former Executive Director of the Eleanor-Monroe Foundation, started in 2019 whereby they provide scholarships and oversee the students during their complete college term. The foundation offers training, seminars, workshops, and basis soft skills.
Her professional achievements cover more than 40 years in banking and hospitality. She began her career as a Customer Service Agent within the Corporate Trust Department/Stock Transfer at National City Bank (now PNC Bank) in Cleveland, Ohio. She relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and worked at First Atlanta Bank, (now Wells Fargo Bank) as a Customer Service Representative and a Personal Banker/Banking Counselor in Branch Operations.
She changed careers and entered the Hospitality industry and quickly moved through the ranks via classes, workshops, and seminars at Wyndham University. Where she then honed a stellar hotel career with such brands as: Hotel Nikko, Ritz Carlton Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Stouffer Hotels.
She completed the (TBS) Turner Broadcasting Systems Emerging Leadership Program through the Governor’s
Mentor Protégé Leadership and the National Business Enterprise Program from the office of the SBA. She has received the Presidential Lifetime Awards for having well over 4,000 hours of volunteer service during her lifetime span. Elgintine has received a Proclamation from Fulton County in Atlanta, Georgia with November 17, as now and forever known as Elgintine Dudley day in Atlanta, Georgia. This reflects her dedicated work for providing sustainability to others. She received the prestigious SCLC award for her extensive community engagement work.
She has served as Chair for the Pre & Post VIP Receptions and Gift Suite, for the prestigious Trumpet Awards, for many years. She served as Co-Chair of The Parade of Mask and Vice Chair for Table sponsorships for the annual illustrious Mayors Masked Ball, benefiting UNCF. She has served on committees and volunteered with the Atlanta Business League, YWCA, March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen, Camp Village, Make a Wish Foundation, NBA All Stars, along with so many others. She was the former President of the nonprofit organization Black Women of Hospitality. She is the former Executive Director for the Mary Parker Foundation, supporting the community and providing scholarships. She serves as an Ambassador for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. She is a member of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (Decatur/Dekalb Chapter) She served as a Board
Member with Girls on a Journey, a group home for young girls. A Founding member and Vice President for Raising Phenomenal Women. She has served as a Board member of the Sherry Adams Preparatory Academy. She was honored as a 2014 Georgia Gem by Women of Distinction. (WOD). She received the Butterfly Award from her church, for years of dedicated service. She served as a Greeter for 20 years and serves as Chair, for Salutes to Legendary Women. She currently serves as a Board of Directors member at her church, Hillside International Truth Center, with the presiding Bishop Dr. Jack L. Bomar and Founded by the late Bishop Dr. Barbara Lewis King. She is a founding member of the Birds of Paradise, a private organization, supporting sustainability for others in need.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio she now currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her loving son Melvin Dudley.
